More Dallas history a mile and a half from my home

On yesterday’s walk, we visited the gorgeous red brick building we’ve walked by many times. Built in 1888, the Continental Gin Building remains a prominent part of Deep Ellum’s charm. Once filled with cotton, it now envelopes coffee lovers, shared workspace people, cocktail aficionados, and one family who lives on the property.

My mission: learn the history and get an inside tour.
