Yesterday, 4 July, began with sunshine and a terrific bike ride to the Levee.
Then, a lovely lunch w/ my Mom. She loves fried oysters, so that’s what she ate. Then, I surprised her with a 50-minute massage at the lovely NOW Massage on Lower Greenville Ave. She LOVED it!!! She came out of the room with her hair sticking up, a HUGE smile on her face, and “thank you” on repeat.
To celebrate the night, my HH and I enjoyed a quiet evening of games and music and a new creative cocktail (vodka, lemonade & hibiscus ginger beer). We celebrated our freedoms and liberties in the comfort of our home and our togetherness.
Thankful for our love and our life. Grateful for this man I’ve chosen, who also chose me. Blessed to live in a fabulous apartment in Downtown Dallas, to see my mother and MIL, and friends and family.
