That’s what my week looks like. I’ve created it. I’ve enjoyed 5/7 of it already. Life is good. Life is rich and full when you create what you enjoy.
Live on the court and in color! Have FUN everyday!
Often when I write, it’s early in the morning. The sky is still dark. The buildings are still lit up. The air is still. It’s the most peaceful time of day.
By the time this blog publishes, the sun has risen, birds start singing, the buildings’ lights are off and the sunshine illuminates them.
Wake up happy, grateful and ready for the FUN day!
Happy Valentine’s Day, one day late.
For me, it will always be a very special day…30 years ago, yesterday (February 14, 1985) Mark proposed to me! Of course, I said, “YES!!”
This is has been the most amazing adventure any girl could dream of! We’ve traveled the US, Europe, Caribbean and Africa. We lived in four US states and now one incredible Middle East country. We raised two fantastic daughters. We’ve laughed so hard we’ve cried!
I am so blessed and grateful. MarkSchnitzer, I love you and I thank you!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Cheers to the next 30 years of fun!
Welcoming the opportunity to meet new, dynamic people is part of my daily goals. When the opportunity to hear and possibly meet Deepak Chopra was presented to me, by my wonderful, generous husband, I jumped at it!
Summary of the amazing day: We were treated to a lovely afternoon of food, drinks, meeting amazing leaders (details in another blog post) and the best part, hearing Dr. Chopra talk about leadership.
After the conference, I went up to him to thank him for his words and lessons. He shook my hand and thanked me for attending.
I am touched, moved and inspired by him, and my husband, for sharing insights, generosity and lessons. One of our gifts after the conference was his new book, The Soul of Leadership, which I started and love!
Stay present to all the goodness, gifts and grace in every day!
While visiting the Sultanate of Oman, we stopped at the Souq, near the port, in the old part of the city. Walking through the narrow walkways, smelling the oud, hearing the call to prayer, smiling gratefully at the salesmen add to the charm of this lovely city.
The vendors sell purses, shoes, shawls, dishes, fabrics, perfumes, shiny souvenirs and jewelry. What they don’t realize they are selling is their warmth and generosity.
Celebrating the MESAC Senior Fine Arts students in Oman enriched my life.
Mark and I enjoyed an evening performance at the Royal Opera House in Muscat. We even saw our friend Leslie there!
The next day we enjoyed the performances of the students from the six schools in the Middle East South Asia Conference. What a fabulous way to spend two days ~ with love, talent, travel, friends, foods and FUN!
