Today I took a really long look outside. I took a deep breath. I said aloud, “thank you, God, for all of this.”
I’m still packing, and need to accelerate the process. We still have a lot to sift through, sort out and share. I realize I am attached to many “things” in our apt. Of course I’m saving the photos…they are my life experiences. But I do not need an iron, an electric screwdriver or my Captain and Tenille records! Purging is very inspiring and cathartic.
Today I give thanks for the abundance in my life: great family, wonderful friends, lots of memories and tons of joy.
How are you feeling today?

Are you having fun this summer too?
I love living in the unknown. I see that it drives some people crazy…hee hee, then we’re doing it right! As we move on to our next adventure, Mark and I discuss the possibilities everynight. We talk about lifestyle, climate, work, days off, our kids and how much fun this whole process is.
We are now accustomed to eating at home during the week and out on the weekends. I cook most nights and some nights I start the preparations and Mark finishes the meal with his jazzy style. We embrace the local foods and the festivals created to celebrate the local delicacies.
Now, for the fun….it’s ALL fun! I throw the covers off every morning excited and grateful for a new day. I walk, explore and venture out daily. It’s all fun. My friends are so wonderful and make my heart sing.
How are you doing with these three ingredients to a great life?
For more of my adventures, including where we are moving to next month, keep reading this blog on ODD days.
Wow, July is here and we all saw the BANGS last night! I hope you had a safe and happy celebration of our country’s independence.
I have to say, miracles happen daily and new experiences show up. Make space for them…keep your heart open and above all else, have fun!!
I learned today that my 6th grade crush died of pancreatic cancer.
I learned today that many people are willing to do random acts of kindness.
I learned today that this really is a small world.
I learned today that since we all only have 24 hours, we must make them count.
Two times this week I heard we are moving to Dallas. Well, that simply is false. Mark was briefly interested in a practice there. We have made no choice as to our next home city. Be assured , you will know from me, via this blog, my Facebook page and emails.
The good doc is researching places, practices and potentials. What this all means is, we have the pick of the planet. We can go wherever we choose. It’s exhilarating and exciting to live in the unknown and with faith. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come!
